MATH 3570 - Modern Geometry Credit Hours: 3 A brief review of informal Euclidean geometry, including area and volumes. The course will also include a formal development of Euclidean geometry using a tranformatin approach; concepts such as incidence, non-Euclidean geometry and finite geometries are introduces. Outcomes for this course meet specific accreditation standards required for certified mathematics education programs. When Offered: Fall Semester Even Years Only
