HLTA 1150 - Introduction to Health Education Credit Hours: 3 This course provides an in-depth study of the varied content areas relating to health, contemporary health problems and reciprocal relationships involving man, disease and the environment focusing on developing the individual’s ability o meaningfully apply enhancement strategies across their lifespan. Students will explore the significance/interrelationship of the dimensions of wellness. This includes the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, financial/occupational, community, and environmental domains of health and wellness.
