GEOS 2202 - Geosphere

Lecture/Lab Hours: Four hours of lecture/discussion/activities per week
This course is designed to provide elementary education majors with an understanding of the dynamic earth and its matter. Students will primarily focus on earth science and chemistry topics, while integrating biology concepts and physics topics such as balanced and unbalanced forces, magnetism, friction, wave propagation and structure. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1430 or MATH 1530 , BIOL 1104 with a C or better, and admission to Elementary Education
