FORS 3215 - Fingerprint Analysis Credit Hours: 2 Lecture/Lab Hours: This course consists of a 1- hour lecture and a lab. Fingerprints play a large role in forensic science. In this course we explore different techniques and methods to capture and analyze fingerprints. Students will learn advanced techniques in latent fingerprints, lifting fingerprints, and preparation of fingerprints in a forensic setting. We will also discuss factors that may affect fingerprint analysis.
Prerequisite(s): FORS 3201 with a C or better or permission.
