The Bachelors of Science in Business Administration Concentration in Finance  is designed to prepare students for a career path in the financial services industries, as well as for careers in corporate finance functions. Students are exposed to the concepts of financial analysis and financial decision making and their application. Students completing the B.S. in Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance will be able to compete with graduates of most colleges and universities for positions as account managers, bankers, credit directors, equity traders, sales managers, risk managers and financial managers.

Accelerated Master’s Degree Option: MBA


The Accelerated BS to MBA Program allows eligible students to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (all concentrations), Accounting or Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration in less time. This streamlined pathway provides students with the skills to enter today’s workforce or to attain professional certification while developing advanced management and leadership skills. Students should consult with their advisor early for eligibility and course planning to maximize this opportunity for career advancement in today’s dynamic business environment.

A maximum of 12 credits may be applied toward fulfilling the requirements for both the bachelor’s and the master’s degrees. The credits are to be earned during the senior year of the undergraduate program. The four MSBA courses listed below will count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree
requirements: 

  • MSBA 5110 Organizational Leadership and Behavioral Dynamics (aligned with Elective)
  • MSBA 5600 Marketing & Brand Management Strategies (aligned with Elective)
  • MSBA 5400 Business Environments (aligned with BSBA 4420 Business Ethics and Corporate Accountability)
  • MSBA 6000 Strategic Management (aligned with Elective)
