MECH 3350 - Numerical Methods Credit Hours: 3 A study of numerical methods, with application to the formulation and solution of engineering problems. Topics include mathematical modeling, engineering problem solving, roots and equations, curve fitting, numerical integration and ordinary differential equations. Digital computers and software are used extensively.
Prerequisite(s): COMP 1110 , PHYS 1101 , and either TECH 2290 or math equivalent
