ENGL 1102 - Written English II Credit Hours: 3 A continuation of Written English I that provides experience in analyzing and writing argument and persuasive prose. A central feature of the course is a library research project that is intended to develop familiarity with reference sources and skill in summarizing the diverse points of view of multiple sources. A “C” in English 1102 or English 1103 , as determined by the academic department, is a graduation requirement for all degrees. Course is transferable as general studies credit to all other state institutions of higher education in West Virginia for credit with the grade earned.
Prerequisite(s): A C or better in ENGL 1101 Transferable General Studies Course
