CHEM 2205 - Analytical Chemistry Credit Hours: 4 Lecture/Lab Hours: 3 hours of lecture and one 3-hour laboratory per week Classical methods of chemical analysis, with an emphasis on quantitative techniques and statistical analysis. Topics include error propagation, median, mean and standard deviation, t-test, q-test, hypothesis testing, linear regression analysis, creation of appropriate graphs and use of calibration curves, equilibrium, precipitation, acid-base theory, acid-base and redox titrations, activities, electrochemistry and potentiometry.
