SOCY 3370 - Concepts of Survey Design Credit Hours: 3 This course is a project-centered exploration of concepts in survey design. The role and mechanics of developing a survey instrument in the context of an overall research project will be reviewed. Topics will include translating research goals into a research design, probability sampling, questionnaire construction, data collection (including interviewing techniques), data processing, and ethical considerations.
