NURS 4410 - Population Health Credit Hours: 5 Lecture/Lab Hours: 3 hours class and 4 hours clinical per week This course focuses on understanding the role of the Nurse Generalist in providing care for vulnerable groups and populations. Students complete a population health assessment and prioritize needs. Based on the identified needs, evidence-based strategies and health promotion, health education, or illness prevention are implemented and evaluated.
