HLTA 3315 - Healthy Sexuality Credit Hours: 3 This course is designed to help students examine the many facets of human sexuality including the design and physiology of the human reproductive systems and the biological and emotional motivations associated with the sexual aspects of life. Learning opportunities will require students to consider the sociological factors involved in defining and adopting sex-roles, there relationship and impact on marriage and family planning, and trends, issues, and content necessary to effectively evaluate and utilize sexuality education methods and materials.
Prerequisite(s): HLTA 1150 , sophomore standing or instructor approval
