HLTA 1150 - Introduction to Health Education


Credit Hours: 3
This course provides an in-depth study of the varied content areas relating to health, contemporary health problems and reciprocal relationships involving man, disease and the environment focusing on developing the individual’s ability to meaningfully apply enhancement strategies across their lifespan. Students will explore the significance/interrelationship of the dimensions of wellness. This includes the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, financial/occupational, community, and environmental domains of health and wellness.
