The Women’s and Gender Studies minor provides students with an avenue to explore contemporary and historical women’s and gender issues as they relate to traditional academic disciplines and human life. Awareness of women’s and gender issues has become an asset in any profession. Students wishing to elect this minor will need to work closely with their advisor. Most importantly, all component course selections must be made from the approved list of courses published each semester by the Women’s and Gender Studies Coordinating Committee.
