NURS 1200 - Nursing Care Across the Lifespan


Credit Hours: 7
Lecture/Lab Hours: 5 hours class, 4 hours lab per week
This course focuses on building the LPN to ASN student knowledge regarding spirit of inquiry, nursing judgment, professional identify and human flourishing in the nurse’s role caring for patients across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on basic nursing concepts, fluid and electrolytes, normal pregnancy and diseases affecting the reproductive, immune, gastrointestinal, integumentary and renal systems.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the LPN to ASN program
Corequisite(s): NURS 1201  and NURS 1206
