HCMG 4460 - Healthcare Management Practicum
Credit Hours: Variable (3 or 6)
This course is a work-based experience providing students with opportunities to experience workplace skills through supervised practical training related to career objectives. Site, supervision, and objectives will be approved by the Advisor. A minimum of 40-clock hours of work-site training and supervision are required to complete 1 credit of practicum. The work experience applies concepts from course work, readings, and practice that aid in developing skills and integrating concepts of administration and management in a healthcare setting.
