MUSI 3306 - Music Business Credit Hours: 3 This course introduces students to the theoretical and practical concepts required to understand and participate in the music industry. Students will learn about event production, performance and recording contracts, print and radio promotion, copyright law, music publishing, music labels, streaming rights, and social media marketing. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to interpret, analyze, and summarize ethical, financial, and legal issues in the music industry.
