FORS 3201 - Forensic Biology Credit Hours: 4 This course will expose the student to the procedures of searching and processing crimes scenes and analyzing biological evidence in the field and in the lab. Examples of evidence examined in this class will include blood typing, toxicology, antigen/antibody reactions, blood spatter, entomology, bone, body fluids, and basic DNA fingerprinting. The culminating lab experience will engross students in solving a mock crime using biological techniques learned during the course.
Prerequisite(s): FORS 2201 with a C or better
