MATH 2562 - Introduction to Discrete Mathematics Credit Hours: 3 This course is designed to provide a survey of the reasoning and objects of study found in discrete mathematics. Topics considered include sets, relations, functions, combinatorics, graphs, trees, discrete probability, algorithms, and recurrence relations. Interspersed throughout the course will be material on the nature of proofs.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 1170 or MATH 1125 or MATH 1561
