Aviation Technology
The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology is offered to students whose career objective is the management and operation of airside activities in the aviation industry. The program provides the graduate with technical competence in an aviationrelated career as well as the skills needed to assume supervisory responsibilities. There are several areas of specialization in this degree: Aviation Administration (which has a focus on management), Aviation Administration with a Flight option, and Aviation Maintenance Management. All Aviation Technology students are required to take the Aviation Common Core requirements listed below. Aviation Common Core (27 Credit Hours)
Aviation Administration / Flight
*Prerequisite for admission into program - earned A&P license. This option prepares the student for entry-level management positions in the maintenance field with airlines, aviation manufacturers, repair stations, and fixed base operators. To be admitted to the program, all students must have obtained their FAA Airframe and Powerplant License. Required Courses (48 Credit Hours)
