CHEM 4404 - Synthetic Methods and Materials

Lecture/Lab Hours: 2 hours of lecture and one 4-hour laboratory per week
This laboratory-intensive course is a study of synthetic methods and materials used in organic and inorganic chemistry, including green approaches to synthesis. Topics include organometallic compounds, metal catalysis, inert gas techniques, characterization techniques including electrochemistry, and the synthetic chemical literature.
