ENGL 3383 - Epic Tradition Credit Hours: 3 In this course we will study the evolving epic tradition, covering 4000+ years of history, and draw our reading selections from a wide range of places, cultures, and perspectives. Our focus will be on the canonical western tradition (Homer, Virgil, Milton, et. al.) but we will also make forays into the literatures of the Near East, India, and Africa.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 2220 or ENGL 2221
