CHEM 3304 - Inorganic Chemistry Credit Hours: 4 Lecture/Lab Hours: 3 hours of lecture and one 3-hour laboratory per week This course covers the synthesis, reactions, and properties of elements and inorganic compounds. Topics include atomic and molecular structure; ionic bonding, crystals, and intermolecular forces; redox chemistry; acids, bases, and nonaqueous solvents; the main group elements; the transition metals; structure, bonding, synthesis and reactions of coordination compounds.
