FORS 3305 - Forensic Anthropology Credit Hours: 4 This course provides a broad overview of the sub-discipline forensic anthropology. Forensic anthropology applies human osteology to a legal setting. In this course students will build on previously learned human osteology by applying it to scenarios such as, mass disasters, human rights, and trauma. Students will learn how to differentiate between comingled remains and fragmentary remains. This course will also give a brief overview of human decomposition as it leads to skeletal identification and time since death. This course will consist of hands-on laboratory activities.
Prerequisite(s): FORS 3201 with a C or higher
