PHED 3360 - Strength & Conditioning Theory and Practice
Credit Hours: 3 This course examines the scientific principles and procedures involved in the assessment of physical fitness and exercise prescription. Special attention is given to understanding and implication of methods and techniques associated with the design of strength and conditioning programs to enhance human performance in sport and fitness. Additionally, this course is designed to prepare students for the nationally accredited Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification exam.
