COMP 3340 - Operating Systems Credit Hours: 3 This is an introduction to historical and current operating system principles and operation. Topics include the function and operation of the major areas of the operating system such as user interfaces, process control, concurrent processes and synchronization, primary and secondary memory management, file systems, I/O, and security issues.
Prerequisite(s): COMP 2201 and COMP 2270
