Credit Hours: 3 This course is designed to focus on European markets. It will discuss issues that American firms have to deal with while doing business in Europe. With the European Union slated for expansion, enlarging an already large unified market, the European markets offer tremendous opportunities and challenges for businesses. The course will discuss the salient differences between the European and domestic management practices. To study the nature of the European markets first hand, students will go on a trip to Europe during the semester.
