NURS 4400 - Research in Nursing Practice Credit Hours: 3 Lecture/Lab Hours: 3 class hours per week This course focuses on using research findings to provide nursing care. Students work in teams and use an evidence based model to appraise the applicability and feasibility of new findings and to solve a clinical problem. As part of that model, students must disseminate findings to outside professional agencies and to their peers. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, team work, ethics, professionalism, patient-centered care, and life-long learning
Prerequisite(s): NURS 3350 Statistics may be taken concurrently. Accelerated Program: Instructor approval required. Active, unencumbered registered nursing license required.
