NURS 1203 - Transition for the Licensed Practical Nurses

Credit Hours: 1
Lecture/Lab Hours: 1 hour class per week
This course introduces the concepts and processes necessary for professional nursing practice. A major focus is the transition from licensed practical nurse to registered nursing student. This course emphasizes time management, test taking skills, the role of an adult learner, informatics, and the transition from a technical role to the role of a professional.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the LPN to ASN program, or ASN program, and status as a Licensed Practical Nurse
